Our Statement of Faith

"This statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the principles of the doctrines of Christ."

ONE TRUE GOD

We believe in the one true God: the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, maker of the universe. He is unfathomable but revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17, Ephesians 4:5-6

JESUS CHRIST, THE ONLY SAVIOR

We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal life who was with the Father and manifested in the flesh, propitiation for the sins of the whole world. He is our Savior, His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, resurrection, ascension, His abiding intercession, and His second coming to judge the living and the dead.

John 1:1-4, Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35, 2 Corinthians 8:21, Hebrews 4:15, 1 John 2:2

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES

We hold the Bible as final authority, believing it to be a Christ-centered book containing holy writings inspired by God's Holy Spirit. The Bible is comprehensive, infallible, and sufficient for Christian faith and practice.

2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21

JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH

We believe in the Holy Spirit as God's own precious Spirit dispatched to accomplish every divine purpose. We believe in His sanctifying power and in justification by faith in Jesus, not by good works or human merit.

Romans 15:16, Romans 5:1, 1 Corinthians 6:11

THE POWER OF THE CROSS

We believe that Christ's redemptive work on the cross provides divine healing for the body and salvation for the soul for all who believe. The ministry is not opposed to medication by qualified medical practitioners. It is impossible to truly follow Jesus without self-denial and taking up one's cross.

1 Peter 2:24, Acts 3:16, Acts 9:32-35, Matthew 16:24

SALVATION BY GRACE

We believe that to be saved, one must respond to Jesus and the gospel of the Kingdom by believing with the heart and confessing the Lordship of Jesus Christ, who was indeed the Son of God sent from above, died, was buried, was raised on the third day, and ascended on high. Salvation is by grace alone, not of works.

Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9

LOVE, THE NEW COMMANDMENT

We believe in gracefully walking in God's love towards all. We are true disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ if we obey His commandment to love one another. Love for one another is the reflection of inner transformation and is the hallmark of true spiritual maturity.

John 13:34-35, 1 John 3:14

THE GREAT COMMISSION

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. We believe in the great commission and uphold that every believer is mandated to head the church to go and make disciples of Christ of all nations. Every believer is automatically an ambassador of the Kingdom called into the ministry of reconciliation.

Ephesians 1:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

SOLI DEO GLORIA

We believe that all honor and praise belong to the one true God and He alone. No humans, saints, or any created entity are to be elevated to a position where they receive glory or praise that belongs to God alone. We assert that every aspect of a believer's life, including their achievements and actions, should reflect and give praise to God.

1 Corinthians 10:31, Romans 11:36, Jude 1:25, Isaiah 48:2, Revelation 4:11

HOLY SACRAMENTS

We believe in the sacrament of Baptism by immersion, practiced as a public declaration of faith by new converts of reasonable age. Young children and infants are not baptized but dedicated to the Lord. Additionally, we uphold the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, or Holy Communion, to be received worthily by all members.

Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 3:21

TITHES AND OFFERINGS

We believe in the New Testament principle of love-based enthusiastic and cheerful generosity towards advancing the Kingdom missions and the welfare of others. Generosity is a spiritual duty and is scripturally commanded, to be given without undue compulsion, but rather out of thankfulness, love, joy, and at the giver's discretion.

2 Corinthians 9:1-8, Luke 6:38, Proverbs 11:25, Acts 10:1-4

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the operation of gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit as described in Scripture, empowering believers for ministry and the edification of the church.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11
